Spa Rituals All Vegan Nail Colors
Check out the all vegan line of nail products by Spa Ritual! They have a vast collectional of colors to go with every mood. I’ve noticed how long the color lasts without chipping, which is a big deal when you like your hands to stay lovely all week long. The base coat and top coats are a must, and washing all oils off your hands before hands helps your manicure last even longer.

Pretty in pink!! These lovely nails were done by the best nail tech you'll find, Megan Aballi at The Nail Lounge in Costa Mesa. They have a vast collection of Spa Ritual!
Spa Ritual’s mission statement is as follows;

Enlighten yourself. Be a SpaRitualist. Because we all deserve to live the good life.
I can’t help but get excited over eco friendly, cruelty free beauty products like this one. You really wouldn’t benefit at all from using a brand that test on animals…or contains animal biproducts. I’ve only touched on the nail colors here, check out their website for info on all of their amazing at home spa treatments.
MY NEW SUMMER SCENT
I found the perfect summer scent, Victoria’s Secret’s Sexy Little Things, NOIR. I always look
for something that is sophisticated and a little bit sweet, and this is exactly that. I couldn’t quite explain it as well as I would like, so here is VC’s description, “..elegant and playfully provocative, it’s an enchanting blend of sparkling nectarine, sultry amber and exotic cattelaya orchid. Additional notes include apple, sparkling citrus, pineapple, guanabana, pear, red fruit, bergamot, muguet, cyclamen, jasmine, plum, vanilla, dewberry, cassis, velvet musk, sultry woods and tonka bean.” Gorgeous!
I would stick with the Body Mist for work, the beach or a lunch date. Save the perfume for evening as it is a little heavier.
The Parfum costs between 39$-49$ where the Body Mist runs about $22. If you love the scent as much as I do, I would suggest treating yourself (or someone you want to smell amazing) to the Sexy Little Things, NOIR gift box which has a smaller version of each of the NOIR products and costs $58. Check the VS website here http://search.victoriassecret.com/exec/ as they always are having some kind of sale.
As with everything I love and share with you guys on here…NOIR is cruelty free.
SITTING PRETTY WITH ARBONNE BEAUTY PRODUCTS
I’ve tried many different mineral powders/loose powder make up brands, and so far I’ve only been motivated to rave about Arbonne because it’s the best I have come across! First of all, anyone who knows me knows I am mildly obsessed with the well being of my skin. I am not a fan of caked on products that are going to make me look like the clown from Steven King’s ‘It’, and then clog my pours to make me look like the ‘before’ people in the Pro Active commercials. I decided to put the Arbonne Natural Radiance Mineral Powder Foundation to the test last week while it was raining off and on all day due to the gnarly June gloom! I put a little of the Perfecting Liquid Foundation under my eyes, used a loose powder brush to apply the foundation, and then brushed on a little of the Arbonne Bronzer to my cheeks and eyelids…looked in the mirror and that was
about all I needed to do! The coverage is great and the evenness of the Bronzer is impressive (no one really wants to look like they are using the same brand bronzer as Snooki right?)
That day at work I had a coworker (who usually asks things like, “Are you tired?” when I’m totally not) say that I looked ‘chpper’- not my choice of words but I’ll take the compliment. Later I had another coworker say I looked happy– coincidence? I think not. I attribute the awake look to the bronzer, it really brightens up your skin. By the end of the rainy day I still hadn’t seen a need to reapply.
I decided to stick with the Arbonne series for a few days to see if there was any kind of build up, or break out reaction and I didn’t see either. Before going out that weekend I used the Virtual Illusion Makeup Primer before using the foundation and my makeup stayed in place for the whole night!
So I give the Arbonne a 10 for coverage…and the seal of approval for being a vegan, cruelty free brand. No ingredients involve any animal product, and the series is never tested on animals. Thank you to Miss Summer Sharp for introducing me to this lovely brand- if anyone is interested in the product please contact her at www.SummerSharp.myarbonne.com and follow her on twitter @SummerSharp
